Before you email about a rename that "did not work"

The tool matches on the filename without its extension, case-insensitively. IMG_001.jpg in your table will match img_001.JPG on disk.
The extension on disk always wins: a table entry new.pdf for a .docx file produces new.docx.
Duplicates are deliberately not resolved automatically — if two files would get the same name, both are skipped and flagged.
Names containing < > : " / \ | ? *, reserved Windows names like CON or LPT1, or a trailing dot/space are blocked rather than "fixed" silently.
